In-person at Fairfax, with telehealth across Virginia
Meet Yusra
Yusra works with individuals and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, maternal mental health, cultural identity, and major life transitions. Fluent in Urdu and Hindi, she brings a culturally responsive, intercultural approach to therapy that honors each client’s lived experience.
-
Yusra believes meaningful therapy makes room for the many parts of a person’s experience, including culture, family, faith, identity, and the stories we carry with us.
She works with clients to explore how those experiences may be shaping their emotional world, while helping them build greater self-understanding, resilience, and compassion for themselves.
Her approach is especially attuned to clients who may be navigating multiple identities or trying to make sense of the expectations, traditions, or experiences that have shaped them.

Her clinical experience includes supporting immigrant families and helping clients explore how culture, family systems, and lived experiences shape emotional well-being.
