Tiana tailors therapy to the needs of each client rather than relying on one fixed approach.
Her work may incorporate Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and play-based techniques.
She brings an artistic, creative, and adaptable style to therapy and works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand what they’re experiencing, recognize their strengths, and develop practical ways to move forward.
-
Tiana holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New England College.
She completed her undergraduate degree while serving in the United States Marine Corps.
Her military experience helped shape skills she continues to bring into her clinical work, including conflict resolution, risk assessment, and the ability to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
Tiana is currently especially interested in continuing to deepen her knowledge of trauma.
She also has a growing interest in women’s mental health, including the ways perimenopause and menopause can affect mood, sleep, and daily functioning.
-
Tiana is an identical twin, and she and her twin served together in the Marine Corps.
Outside of work, she loves reading manga, watching anime, and spending time with her two cats, Rocco and Ember.
