Meet Molly
Molly works with teens, adults & couples navigating ADHD, anxiety, trauma, relationship and attachment concerns, women’s issues, and the challenges that often come with early adulthood and major life transitions. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
-
Early experiences can shape the way we understand ourselves, connect with others, and respond to challenges long after those experiences have passed.
Molly especially enjoys helping clients explore how adverse childhood experiences, trauma, and attachment patterns may be showing up in adulthood.
Her goal is to create a strong, affirming therapeutic relationship where clients from a wide range of backgrounds can process what they’re carrying, better understand themselves, and begin moving toward meaningful change.

Molly’s clinical approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and empowerment.
Her work may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches based on each client’s needs and goals.
Molly also believes the relationship between therapist and client is an important part of meaningful therapy. Building trust and creating enough space to honestly process life’s challenges are central to the way she works.
-
Molly earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from James Madison University and her master’s degree in Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University.
She began her career in community mental health, an experience that strengthened her belief in holistic care and the importance of considering the larger systems that affect each client’s life.
Molly recently attended the South Eastern Summit for Behavioral Health, where she expanded her knowledge of ADHD in women, intergenerational trauma, behavioral presentations in youth, and the effects of technology on mental health.
She’s also particularly interested in bibliotherapy and hopes to incorporate carefully selected books into future group work.
-
Molly founded and organizes a local book club for women as a way to create community and space for new friendships.
She also loves interior design and has managed to thrift some part of essentially everything in her home.
And if there’s a 7Brew nearby, her order is pretty specific: a medium iced Blondie with caramel lining the cup and cold foam on top.
