Meet Kristin
Kristin works with teens and adults navigating ADHD, autism, AuDHD, LGBTQIA+ concerns, anxiety, eating disorders, complex trauma, self-esteem, gender and sexuality exploration, stress, and major life transitions. Her approach is collaborative, integrative, and grounded in creating a warm, neurodivergent-affirming, judgment-free space.
-
Kristin believes therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to explore their inner world without pressure to be anywhere other than where they are right now.
She meets each client with curiosity and compassion, tailoring the therapeutic process around their individual needs, values, and experiences.
Together, the work may focus on building tools to support emotional well-being, developing more empowering self-talk, exploring sustainable forms of self-care, and reconnecting with a more authentic sense of self.

Kristin draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches rather than relying on one fixed model.
Her work may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, person-centered therapy, IFS-informed techniques, mindfulness, movement, meditation, art-based interventions, and parts work.
She is especially passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and people who are navigating or beginning to explore ADHD, autism, or AuDHD, whether formally diagnosed or simply starting to make sense of their experiences.
Kristin also works closely with LGBTQIA+ clients and strives to create a space where identity, gender, sexuality, and lived experience can be explored openly and without judgment.
-
Kristin earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of South Carolina.
She is currently especially interested in pursuing additional training related to becoming a clinical supervisor.
-
Live music is one of Kristin’s biggest passions, and she loves attending concerts and music festivals whenever she can.
She also enjoys collecting weird little trinkets and has a soft spot for anything quirky or unusual.
And one of her favorite ways to move is hula hooping, ideally with a light-up hoop.
