Meet Jessica
Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. Her style is direct, strengths-based, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients feel both supported and challenged as they work toward meaningful change.
-
Jessica believes change happens when people feel seen, supported, and willing to engage honestly with what may be getting in the way.
Clients often describe her as grounded, insightful, and direct. She offers meaningful perspective while staying fully committed to each client’s growth and works to create a strong therapeutic relationship where self-reflection can lead to practical, lasting change.
Rooted in cultural humility, Jessica works with people from a wide range of backgrounds and identities. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, she thinks creatively and adapts the work to fit the person in front of her.

Jessica primarily uses a Solution Focused approach, helping clients identify strengths, possibilities, and practical steps toward change.
Whether she is working with complex trauma, addiction, neurodiversity, chronic health concerns, or everyday stressors, Jessica helps clients deepen insight and develop tools that support long-term healing and well-being.
She works especially well with people who are ready to engage in honest self-reflection and take active steps toward growth, even when doing so feels uncomfortable.
Jessica’s own life experiences have also shaped the empathy she brings to her work and strengthened her belief in helping clients build confidence in their ability to move through challenges and create meaningful change.
-
In addition to her clinical work, Jessica serves as Resident Licensure Mentor at Healthy Minds Therapy.
She is passionate about supporting emerging clinicians as they develop their professional identity while also protecting their own well-being.
Jessica believes clinicians do their best work when they are supported with clarity, compassion, and practical tools, and that this support ultimately strengthens the care they provide to individuals and communities.
-
Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than two decades of clinical experience and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
She has extensive experience working with substance use and addiction, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and illness, and major life transitions.
Jessica is currently especially interested in the relationship between neurodiversity, trauma, and addiction and continues to deepen her understanding of how those experiences can intersect.
-
Jessica loves to dance and is a self-described foodie who enjoys exploring different cultures through food.
And when life gets busy, she has a pretty simple formula for keeping things moving: coffee and a little bit of chaos.
