Jack Fox, LPC
Chief Management Officer & Licensed Professional Counselor
In-person at Fairfax, with telehealth across Virginia
Meet Jack
Jack works with adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, attention and focus concerns, loneliness, obsessive and compulsive concerns, life changes, and a desire to better understand themselves. His approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping clients create meaningful change in everyday life.
-
Finding a therapist can feel daunting, but Jack believes the therapeutic process can create opportunities for growth, greater day-to-day functioning, and changes that bring more strength and joy into everyday life.
Over his years of clinical work, one simple truth has continued to stand out: you are not alone.
Jack works to create a safe environment where clients can be vulnerable, share their full story, and begin understanding both what feels difficult and what may be contributing to it.

Jack believes successful therapy often begins by understanding what isn’t working, exploring where those patterns may come from, and then identifying changes in thoughts, emotions, or behaviors that can make everyday life feel more manageable.
He primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy to help clients work toward their goals.
At the center of that work is the therapeutic relationship. Jack takes time to understand each client’s full story and create an environment where vulnerability feels safe enough for meaningful work to happen.
-
In addition to his clinical work, Jack serves as Chief Management Officer at Healthy Minds Therapy.
His leadership role allows him to support the broader work of the practice while bringing the same practical, thoughtful perspective he uses with clients to the systems and day-to-day operations that help Healthy Minds function well.
-
Jack earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of William & Mary and his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University.
He has spent the past seven years working clinically with adults across a range of concerns and is trained in EMDR, an approach he has found particularly meaningful in helping clients heal from traumatic experiences.
Jack is also interested in continuing to expand his work through Internal Family Systems and learning more about Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD.
-
Jack has always had a competitive streak. In high school, he played both lacrosse and soccer and was a conference champion in each.
He can also solve a Rubik’s Cube, which feels like a pretty fitting skill for someone who spends a lot of time helping people make sense of complicated patterns.
When he’s ready to get away from it all, Jack loves hiking and spending part of each summer in the Adirondacks of New York.
