Meet Harley
Harley works with teens, young adults, and LGBTQIA+ clients navigating anxiety, trauma, gender dysphoria, challenging life transitions, cultural identity, and questions around creativity and spirituality. Their approach is affirming, flexible, and grounded in helping clients make room for both change and greater self-acceptance.
-
Harley believes self-expression can be a powerful part of growth.
Their work is shaped by the idea that life is always changing, and that learning to hold both change and self-acceptance can create more freedom in how we understand ourselves and move through the world.
Harley works to create a space where clients can explore identity, emotions, relationships, and difficult experiences without feeling pressured to fit into a narrow idea of what healing should look like.

Harley draws from trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
Rather than using one fixed model, they tailor the work to each client’s individual needs and experiences.
Harley’s background in special education also strongly informs their therapeutic perspective. They see neurodiversity as a fundamental part of life and believe clients can work toward growth while also bringing more acceptance to the way their minds naturally work.
-
Harley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor.
They hold degrees from New York University in Trauma Studies, Columbia University in Education, and William & Mary in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Before becoming a counselor, Harley worked as a special education teacher in New York City public schools, an experience that continues to shape the way they understand learning, neurodiversity, self-expression, and individual differences.
