In-person at Alexandria, with telehealth across Virginia
Meet Erin
Erin works with adults, couples & families navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, postpartum concerns, parenting challenges, relationship stress, and major life transitions. She also has a strong connection to the military community and brings both personal and professional understanding to the unique challenges military families can face.
-
Erin believes that a strong therapeutic relationship can create the foundation for meaningful change.
She works collaboratively with clients to better understand what they’re experiencing, develop practical tools, and identify paths forward that feel aligned with their individual goals and values.
Because every person’s experience is different, Erin tailors therapy to the needs of each client rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

-
Erin primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and client-centered approaches.
Her work may involve helping clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, develop practical coping skills, build greater psychological flexibility, and take meaningful steps toward living in a way that feels more connected to their values.
Erin also values creating a trusting space where clients can deepen their self-understanding and feel supported as they work through difficult transitions, relationship concerns, or emotional challenges.
-
Erin has strong ties to the military community.
As an Air Force veteran, the spouse of an Army Special Forces soldier, and a mother of three, she has experienced military life from multiple perspectives.
Having navigated deployments both personally and as a military spouse, Erin understands many of the stressors, transitions, and relationship challenges that can come with military life and brings that lived perspective into her work with service members, veterans, and their families.
-
Erin earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
She is especially interested in continuing her training in sex therapy to deepen her ability to support individuals and couples navigating intimacy, communication, and connection in their relationships.
-
Erin is an Air Force veteran and also works as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
Outside of work, life stays pretty full with her three children, two dogs, and a cat.
