Meet Dianna
Dianna works with children, teens, adults, and families and brings extensive experience across social service and mental health settings. She also specializes in neurofeedback, helping clients improve self-regulation, manage stress, and support more effective brain functioning.

Dianna takes a compassionate, strengths-based approach to therapy and believes that each person brings their own resilience, resources, and capacity for growth into the process.
She works collaboratively with clients to understand the experiences that may be affecting emotional well-being and to identify practical strategies that support recovery, greater balance, and a stronger sense of control.

Dianna uses a range of therapeutic approaches based on each client’s needs.
Her work may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, stress-management techniques, relaxation strategies, and other specialized interventions.
She places particular importance on the relationship between therapist and client and aims to create a warm, accepting environment where clients feel respected, supported, and actively involved in their own change process.

Dianna has provided neurofeedback services since 2005 and became Board Certified in Neurofeedback through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance in 2010.
Also known as EEG biofeedback or neurotherapy, neurofeedback is designed to help the brain improve self-regulation and function more efficiently.
Dianna uses neurofeedback to support clients with concerns including stress, ADHD, autism-related symptoms, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, anxiety, depression, traumatic brain injury, and attention difficulties. It can also be used to support cognitive and athletic performance.

Dianna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in social work from Old Dominion University and her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Her career began in child and family welfare services, including Child Protective Services. She later worked with youth and families through Prince William Community Services before moving into private practice in the Fredericksburg area.
Dianna is also a member of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research.
