Meet Chelsea
Chelsea works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, stress, depression, grief, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Drawing from her own military background, she has a particular passion for supporting veterans, service members, and military families with care that is compassionate, culturally informed, and grounded in practical change.
-
Military experiences can shape identity, relationships, stress, and the way people move through major transitions long after a particular assignment or chapter has ended.
Chelsea brings firsthand understanding of military culture into her clinical work, helping veterans, service members, and their families feel understood without having to explain every part of that experience from the ground up.
She works collaboratively with clients to better understand what may be contributing to emotional distress, strengthen resilience, and develop practical coping strategies that support everyday life.

Chelsea takes a client-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy and tailors the work to each person’s experiences, needs, and goals.
Her work may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
The goal is not only to reduce distress, but to help clients develop greater insight, confidence, and practical tools they can carry into life outside of therapy.
-
Chelsea has a particular interest in working with veterans, active service members, and military families.
Her own military background gives her a unique perspective on the demands of military life, including transition and reintegration challenges, occupational stress, trauma, identity, and the impact those experiences can have on relationships and family life.
She continues to deepen her expertise in trauma treatment and evidence-based interventions while expanding her work with military-connected clients.
-
Chelsea served in both the Air Force and Marine Corps.
When she’s ready to recharge, she loves spending time at the beach and getting outside in nature.
She also enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures and perspectives whenever she gets the chance.
