Meet Caroline
Caroline works with children, teens, and adults and brings a warm, empathetic approach to therapy. She is especially passionate about helping younger clients build resilience, understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop practical coping skills in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.

Caroline believes therapy should give clients room to explore challenges without feeling judged or rushed.
She works to create an environment where people can better understand what they’re experiencing, recognize their strengths, and develop effective coping strategies that support mental wellness and personal growth.
With younger clients in particular, Caroline focuses on helping them build emotional awareness, healthier relationships, and confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.

Caroline combines empathy and a strong therapeutic relationship with evidence-based practices.
Her background working with children and adolescents as a student-teacher also informs the developmentally aware approach she brings to younger clients.
She has a particular interest in play therapy and the ways developmentally appropriate play can help children express emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen relationships when words alone may not be enough.

Caroline earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University and completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at Lafayette College.
She is currently a Resident in Counseling working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia under the supervision of Dr. Michael Deitz, LPC.
