Meet Ann-Marie
Ann-Marie works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns, intrusive thoughts, relationship challenges, parenting, and major life transitions. Her approach is warm, strengths-based, and grounded in helping clients build a more fulfilling life that reflects what matters most to them.
-
Transitions can stir up uncertainty, stress, and questions about who you are or what comes next.
Ann-Marie especially enjoys supporting clients through the transition into and out of college, relationship changes, parenting challenges, and other seasons that can leave people feeling unsettled or disconnected.
Her goal is to create a supportive space where clients can better understand what they’re experiencing, identify what matters to them, and begin making choices that move them toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Ann-Marie uses an integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
Her work may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based approaches, and person-centered therapy.
She is especially interested in ACT and the way it can help clients make room for difficult thoughts and emotions while moving toward the values and relationships that matter most to them.
-
Ann-Marie also offers Christian counseling for clients who want faith to be part of the therapeutic process.
She has particular knowledge of Catholicism and holds the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in Catholic theology.
Faith is never something clients are expected to incorporate into therapy, but for those who want that perspective included, Ann-Marie can thoughtfully integrate it into the work.
-
Ann-Marie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with teens and adults.
Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns, intrusive thoughts, relationships, parenting, and life transitions.
She is currently especially interested in continuing to deepen her work with Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
-
Ann-Marie loves tactile, creative activities that also happen to be good for slowing down and staying present, including knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilling, gardening, cooking, and baking.
She also comes from a very musical family and loves to sing and play piano, especially when everyone is together.
And she’s a self-described old soul, with a soft spot for music and movies from the 1940s and 1950s.
